Brad Treliving Hired as Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager
Treliving's Background and Qualifications
Brad Treliving, the son of Canadian businessman Jim Treliving, was hired as the new general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs on May 31, 2023. He is the 18th general manager in the history of the franchise.
Treliving brings a wealth of experience to the Maple Leafs organization. He previously served as the general manager of the Calgary Flames from 2014 to 2021. During his tenure, the Flames made the playoffs in four of his seven seasons and reached the playoffs in 2019.

Jim Treliving expressed his pride and excitement for his son's new role. "I'm thrilled for Brad," he said. "He's worked so hard to get to this point, and I know he's going to do great things in Toronto.".
