Brad Treliving Contract Leafs

Maple Leafs Hire Brad Treliving as New General Manager

Former Flames GM Takes Over in Toronto

The Toronto Maple Leafs have named Brad Treliving as their new general manager. The team made the announcement on Wednesday, less than two weeks after firing Kyle Dubas.

Treliving, 56, has been a general manager in the NHL for 10 years, most recently with the Calgary Flames. He has also worked as an assistant general manager with the Phoenix Coyotes and as a scout for the Edmonton Oilers.

Treliving is known for his strong work ethic and his ability to build successful teams. He led the Flames to the playoffs in four of his five seasons as general manager, and he won the Pacific Division in 2018.

The Maple Leafs are hoping that Treliving can bring the same success to Toronto. The team has not won a playoff series since 2004, and they have not won the Stanley Cup since 1967.

Treliving is excited about the opportunity to lead the Maple Leafs. He said that he is confident that he can help the team reach its goals.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the Toronto Maple Leafs," Treliving said. "This is a historic franchise with a passionate fan base. I'm confident that we can build a team that will make our fans proud."
