M/S Gann arrives at Victoria Pier with tourists

The M/S Gann, a Norwegian schoolship, arrived at Victoria Pier earlier today. The ship is owned by a private school in Stavanger and educates students in maritime studies. The Gann is the fifth cruise ship to arrive in Victoria this year, and is carrying over 140 tourists from Stavanger.
The Gann is a 6257gt steel twin-screw motor vessel that was built in 1982 by Mekaniske Verksted Aker Trondelag. The ship is 95 meters long and 14 meters wide. She has a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Kongsberg Maritime KM is pleased to confirm that it will supply an extensive equipment and simulation package for the Gann. The package includes an integrated navigation system, a dynamic positioning system, and a range of simulation equipment.
