Cobb Returns To Green Bay

Packers Welcome Back Randall Cobb

Cobb Returns to Green Bay

After Eight Seasons Away

Randall Cobb is back in Green Bay. The wide receiver, who spent the first eight years of his career with the Packers, signed a one-year deal with the team on Wednesday. Cobb, who played for the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans the past three seasons, was emotional upon returning to Green Bay.

"I cried when I got in my car en route to the airport in Texas on Wednesday," Cobb said. "That's how happy I was to return to the team that drafted me and the city that I love."

Cobb was drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He quickly became a key member of the offense, catching 45 passes for 571 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie season. Cobb continued to be a productive receiver for the Packers, catching at least 50 passes in each of his first four seasons.
