More Details Released in Triple-Fatal Mesa County Crash

Details about the Crash

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office has released more information about the triple-fatal crash that occurred on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 50, near mile marker 10.

A Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado.

Victims of the Crash

The driver of the Camry, 23-year-old John Doe, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the Silverado, 45-year-old Jane Doe, was also killed.

A passenger in the Silverado, 42-year-old Richard Roe, was also killed.

Investigation into the Crash

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the cause of the crash.

However, investigators believe that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
